Technology > Processing and Interpretation Software

The UIT system includes a set of software applications capable of quickly and efficiently handling large geophysical datasets. Raw data inputs are systematically processed and assembled to create complete 3-D images of the subsurface. The resulting efficiency allows interpreters to achieve high productivity and accuracy.

  • Data Processing Engine (DPE) accurately converts positioning information to the specified coordinate system and integrates positioning and geophysical data sets.
  • Semi-automated Process And DEtect (SPADE) software application is a primary UIT data interpretation package for the integrated, multi-channel geophysical sensors. SPADE is used to display geophysical data (GPR and/or TDEM) acquired along several linear or nonlinear survey swaths in such a way that detected features of interest appear in the correct orientation. The 3-D data sets may overlay geo-referenced aerial photographs and plan maps to aid in the interpretation. Targets are selected directly from the 3D data sets and formatted for a wide range of visualizations and CAD maps.

  • RADAN 6.x software, developed by Geophysical Survey System, Inc. (GSSI), is used to post-process multi-channel Terravision GPR data sets.
